I had a another cooking class at the ranch this weekend. I decided to make the class all about gut-healing foods and my go-to gal for all things gut-healing is Mee McCormick. She has a wonderful cookbook (My Kitchen Cure) that I always keep handy.
My recipes included lots of Glorious Greens from my garden (kale, chard & beet greens among them), Ginger Butternut Squash Soup, Brown Rice, Thai Almond Sauce and Arame. We started with Kale Chips and ended with Liquid Apple Pie, an extra belly soothing drink.
One of the reasons that I like to make all of these foods together is that you can mix them all up and layer them to create a hearty meal. Just click on each dish to find the recipe.
